David A. Shaggy formed Contraria Development© after working in real estate for 35 years, to pursue new projects in locations that make geographic and economic sense.
The Company is focused on alternative ways of doing business and supports a broader view of multiple industries to enhance standard business practice. It is focused on bringing forth new schools, sports related ventures and specialty projects in addition to standard ventures in the office, retail, hotels and industrial space.
Contraria makes every effort to pursue a commonality between our partners (Public and Private) through equitable discussions, adjustments to ideas and collaboration where possible. The Company believes that all thoughts and visions can be accomplished by coming together and sharing views to achieve beneficial accomplishments.
In addition, our Company searches for market trends and adapts to market standards, rather than forcing the market to accept our business practices. The goal is to work with likeminded people to achieve solutions resulting in adjusted profitability. Each situation and project is unique so each location pursues appropriate partners, enhancing the maximum benefit for all parties.
